Teacher Appreciation Part 2

I'm working on our Teacher Appreciation gift for tomorrow.  The theme is "Green Day" and focuses on anything green - new life, renewed life and extended life. 

I have already cut out all the pieces and cleaned my work desk.  Tonight after work, I'll be in full on production mode.

Teacher Appreciation Week

A great way to use your fabric for a good cause.  This project cost me all of about $3.50 out of pocket (not counting the fabric from my stash).

Today's theme is Spa, so I made soothing eye pillows for Alyson and MayLee's teachers and admin staff.  I'd like to make one for myself next, so if I think of it, I'll take pictures along the way to put up as a tutorial.

Pincushion Love

I'm in love with the pincushion I'm sending to my mom for Mother's Day.  If I ever updated this blog with any regularity, I might be concerned that she'd know ahead of time, but seriously - I doubt there's any risk.

Happy Mother's Day Mom!  Thank you for teaching me to sew and for creating a monster in me!
